The JAD shell & coil heat exchanger consists of a shell and a helical coil inside. Compact construction, high performance compared to standard solutions, easy installation and reliability are the main advantages of JAD. It is made of stainless steel and comes in several size versions. In JAD X connections are arranged in an X shape which reduces pressure loss at high flow rate. It also reduces pollution and makes the alternator more resistant to differences in media parameters. The JAD X can be completely emptied using gravity and is available in several versions capable of handling a wide range of temperatures, pressures and flows. Corrugated tubes promote turbulent fluid flow which further enhances heat exchange and helps reduce deposits. JAD can be successfully used in standard district heating installations and substations, while JAD X is ideal for installations with increased temperature and pressure requirements, e.g. steam applications or oil coolers.
